Hi! My name is Rachel Madison. I’m a licensed makeup artist and body painter. I’ve been doing makeup professionally for about 3-4 years now and I specialize in a number of areas such as print, editorial, commercial, bridal and body paint. For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a passion for makeup; I love not only just the art of transforming people through makeup, but lifting them up with it as well. For many years I started out by practicing makeup techniques and body paint on myself in order to perfect my craft, and still do! During my junior and senior year of high school I was in enrolled in a program to go through PJ’s College of Cosmetology to get my cosmetology license by the time I graduated high school, which has been extremely helpful in order to start working professionally and making strides towards my career right after receiving my license. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible individuals that have not only helped shape my portfolio, but my career as a makeup artist. Currently I’m working as a freelance independent artist in the Indianapolis and Midwest area, as well as working as a Brow Bar Arch Expert through Benefit Cosmetics at Ulta Beauty in Plainfield, IN . My goals as an artist are definitely not small, but not unachievable either! I would love to make my way into the film industry more as well as work on print ad commercials and editorials. Not only is practicing and perfecting your craft SO important, but education is as well which is why the ultimate goal is to open a studio for all artists to come in and learn from some of the leading professionals in the industry. I look forward to creating a unique and professional experience for all of my clients and their needs in beauty!
